Although known for their Chardonnay wines, they also make a small amount of some terrific Beaujolais. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThey have two labels, one for the négociant wines at Bret Brothers and one for the family owned Domaine de la Soufrandière. Their grandfather bought the La Soufrandière estate in 1947. The wines have been certified biodynamic since the early 2000's. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThese ambitious brothers only use organic or biodynamic grapes from small plots of old vines, all grapes are hand-harvested by their own team, vinification is with 100% natural yeasts and the wines are vinified, matured and bottled in-house.
