"This review represents the final blend of the wine that had not been bottled when I tasted it. The 2015 Bolgheri Superiore is a richly endowed and textured red wine from this new estate on the Tuscan Coast. The bouquet here exhibits beautifully concentrated fruit with blackberry and cherry liqueur at the top. The quality of fruit is rich and nicely integrated with the tannins and the acidity that gives the wine dimension and length in terms of mouthfeel. The blend here is 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The blend is aged in new and neutral oak for 16 months." -Robert Parker
"Rich and harmonious, featuring a core of black currant, blackberry and plum flavors shaded by rosemary, thyme and sage accents. A solid structure lends support as this plays out on the long finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot."
"Enticing scents of scorched earth, cassis, new leather, vanilla, truffle and Mediterranean brush abound on this classy red. The full-bodied youthfully austere palate is still tightly wound but already shows mature black cherry, raspberry preserve, licorice and grilled herb set against a backbone of firm fine-grained tannins. Give it time to fully develop."
