Château de la Maltroye’s 2017 La Dent de Chien is a rare Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru from a steep, limestone-rich site just above Montrachet. The vines, planted in 1935, yield low volumes of intensely mineral Chardonnay.

Jean-Pierre Cournut vinifies with precision, aging the wine in oak with restraint. The result is a powerful, finely structured white with Grand Cru depth and a long, layered finish.
