For decades he maintained and in fact expanded a few parcels of vineyards. He sold the fruit to a big coop for additional revenue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhen Pierrick took the reigns a decade ago he was fresh out of enology school in Beaune and an internship in New Zealand. He was ready to shake things up! He completed eliminated pesticides in the vineyard and dramatically reduced fungicides (a difficult task in his area). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHis first vintage was 2010 and with some mentoring from family friend Didier Picq he quickly gained attention as an up and comer in Chablis.
