They have almost 50 hectares under vine, situated near the mediterranean and thus benefiting from that salty and cool sea breeze. This is exceptionally important in a region as warm and dry as Vittoria.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAll of their vineyards sit on a layer of the area's famous terra rossa (light, red, sandy loam) atop limestone. That limestone helps retain precious water in this semi arid area as well as contributing to the freshness and perceptible acidity of their wines.
