Le Macioche is a small production, high quality estate in the heart of Montalcino. They produce just about 1500 cases total each vintage and have been quietly improving since their founding in 1980.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe vineyards are farmed entirely organically (since 2000, recently certified), everything is hand-picked and sorted before undergoing a slow fermentation in wooden vats using only native yeasts.
