I love Malbec from the Loire Valley where it is more commonly known as Cot. The aromas are reminiscent of this wine color, like a basket of freshly picked blackberries and black plums. Dark and deep but surprisingly light on its feet with black fruit flavor and bright notes of balsamic and earth. This is the first vintage that Barbara was on her own and if this is the result we can't wait to see what the future holds from the second generation of what may become a dynasty.
