The wine is crafted from the Crasa and Calderara vineyards, which sit at an elevation of 650 to 700 meters above sea level. It blends 90 percent Nerello Mascalese with 10 percent of 120 year old co planted Nerello Cappuccio, Minella Bianca, and Sangiovese.
