"Lurid red. Spice-accented raspberry and cherry aromas are complicated by hints of cola, candied rose and smoky mineral notes. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering lively red berry flavors and suggestions of floral pastilles and blood orange that emerge with aeration. Nicely concentrated but vibrant and precise in style, delivering solid closing thrust, while smooth tannins lend shape to the long, spice-accented finish. This wine is composed of 65% Rincon and 35% Rosemary's fruit and, like the Chardonnay, it's extremely impressive for what might be called an entry-level bottling." -Josh Raynold

"Well-structured, with plenty of savory accents to the red currant, raspberry and dried cherry flavors. Touches of dried mint show midpalate, with a crunchy finish that features toasty notes. Drink now through 2023. 4,091 cases made." -Kim Marcus

"Light in the glass and reserved on the nose, this appellation blend shows red fruit, red flowers and a touch of oak on the nose. The palate is easy to like with light raspberry and ripe cranberry flavors, leading into rose petals and lavender toward the finish." -Matt Kettmann
