The 2024 draws on three generations of vines at once: roughly 15% from vines around 115 years old, 35% from fifty-year-old ungrafted franc de pied plantings, and half from a parcel the domaine put in the ground in 2018, all on clay and flint. It spends twelve months in Burgundy barrels and goes into bottle with barely any sulfur, around 15 mg\/l, so give it a generous decant and plenty of air. Clos du Tue-Boeuf has farmed organically with native yeasts since the 1990s and is one of the founding names of natural Loire wine.
