As a rule, the house approach is deliberately unshowy: grapes picked by hand, a gentle press, fermentation and malolactic in tank, then about 18 months in older barrels and feuillettes (smaller traditional casks), with very little new wood coming into the cellar. Isabelle, Bernard's daughter, is carrying the domaine, founded in 1948, into its next generation.
