This is his largest premier cru holding at 0.61 hectares, with vines averaging 42 years, raised for a year in barrel with 20% new oak and then six months in stainless steel before bottling at eighteen months. 2024 was one of the hardest growing seasons in recent Burgundian memory - a wet spring, relentless downy mildew and a very small crop - but the whites that came through show the tension and classic proportion the warm years lack.
