{"product_id":"domaine-roulot-meursault-meix-chavaux-2024","title":"Domaine Roulot Meursault Meix Chavaux 2024","description":"This bottle is the idea that made Roulot famous: one named parcel of village Meursault, vinified and bottled on its own instead of disappearing into a blend. Guy Roulot used the family's distilling success to buy small plots around Meursault. By the 1970s he was bottling them separately, only a generation after the domaine had been sending its grapes to the still, and that's how Roulot came to be known as the master of the lieu-dit (a named vineyard parcel). Roulot owns just under a hectare of Meix Chavaux, with vines around fifty years old. When Guy died suddenly in 1982, his son Jean-Marc was pursuing an acting career in Paris. In the meantime an American, Ted Lemon, ran the cellar before going home to California to found Littorai. Jean-Marc has farmed organically since the early 1990s: no herbicides, ploughed soils. Roulot whites are famously austere and \"on the razor's edge\" when young, then broaden with age. If you want to see what the domaine's reputation is built on without going up to the premier crus, start here.","brand":"Grand Cru Selections [GCS]","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44116525613091,"sku":"SF-W-GCS-`GCRU9475-24`-103026-5","price":299.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0044\/1208\/0163\/files\/Bottle-of-Domaine-Roulot-Meursault-Meix-Chavaux-2024-White-Wine-Flatiron-SF.jpg?v=1793832695","url":"https:\/\/sf.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/domaine-roulot-meursault-meix-chavaux-2024","provider":"Flatiron SF","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
