The whole vineyard covers just 5 hectares, and the Sautereaus farm about a quarter of it. Those shell-rich soils give the estate's whites their aromatic punch, freshness and length, and the house winemaking is built to show them off. David Sautereau made his first harvest in 1997 after studying in Burgundy and Champagne and working in Switzerland, California and Australia.
