The site is a Loire terrace of sand and gravel, which is exactly the soil that gives Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil its lift and perfume. Farming is serious here — certified organic since 2007, Biodyvin since 2018, with rye, clover and vetch sown between the rows and everything picked by hand — but the wine wears none of it heavily. Rémy and Charly Mabileau now run the family's 35 hectares, and this remains the bottle that explains what they're after: fresh, fruit-driven, ready the moment you open it.
