This Passetoutgrain comes from 2018 which was marked by long and sustained heat spikes, but this wine manages to avoid all of the attributes one would expect from such a hot growing season. Mostly Pinot blended with about twenty percent Gamay, this is crunchy and aromatic. A favorite '18 Passetoutgrain, it is very floral with violet and strawberry liqueur flavors and aromas. The fruit is ripe and round but the acidity and minerality complement that beautifully. Best served chilled, this is a sappy yet fresh pleasure bomb.
