Rocky limestone at 750 to 890 meters, a cool near-Alpine climate and a deliberately hands-off cellar give a wine whose minerality, as we said the first time we tasted it, is off the charts. Xinomavro is usually discussed as Greece's answer to Nebbiolo and almost never thought of as a white grape at all, which is precisely why this is one of the most distinctive Greek whites on our shelves.
