The soils are calcareous, and it shows: the wine is dense but strung along a mineral line rather than piled up as fruit, which is the whole argument for Argentina's high-altitude limestone. Matías Riccitelli fermented it in concrete and aged it sixteen months in cask, and there were only 3,000 bottles made. It drinks well now with a decant and is in no hurry — a wine built on acidity and structure at this altitude will hold and improve for a decade or so. If your idea of Malbec is soft and sweet-fruited, this will reset it.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Skurnik Wines West [SWW]","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43853251444771,"sku":"SF-4-SWW--082926-61","price":62.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/sf.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/matias-riccitelli-chayaces-malbec-vina-extrema-2021-750ml","provider":"Flatiron SF","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
