The 2021 blends Corvina with Corvinone, Rondinella and a little Oseleta, then spends three years in 35- and 65-hectoliter Slavonian oak casks and a further year in bottle before release. It was a calm growing season — cold dry winter, balanced spring, mild summer — which brought the fruit in evenly ripe and healthy in early autumn, and the wine shows it: deep and full-bodied but, to the family's credit, never a bruiser.
