"The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes comes from 65-year old vines and matures in 15% new oak. This has a more flamboyant and extrovert bouquet than the Beaune Les Tuerons, though that is partly because it had just undergone the racking. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, a "gutsy" Gevrey with good substance and brims over with freshness on the finish. What a delicious, charming Gevrey from Rossignol-Trapet โ€“ this comes highly recommended." -Vinous

Not interesting at all

The bouquet is poor, 1dt and 2nd nose confirm there is not a lot of aromas in the glass. Vague taste of cherry in the palate. Same impressions when tasted the second day. I am surprised how a Gevrey Chambertin can be that not interesting.
