from the brewery, "
Located in the center of Lucinges in Haute-Savoie between Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva, Brasserie des Voirons was taken over in 2011 by Christophe, a passionate and self-taught chef.
Its essence lies in the water from the continuous Evian spring. This water gives our beers exceptional quality. We do manual brewing, thus promoting contact with the materials and preserving craftsmanship. We prioritize local, organic ingredients, and wild harvesting. We favor long fermentations and aging, giving our beers structure, aging potential, and aromatic depth. Brasserie des Voirons is evolving; we are creating new recipes, new beverages to innovate while preserving the brewery's essence.
They are mainly aged in barrels for 6 to 18 months and come in two categories:
The "vigneronnes" are spontaneous beers, made with wine lees and grapes from our winemaker friends. It's a hybrid that reveals the terroir and the work of a winemaker through beer.
For the others, it's a combination of beer, fruit, and aromatic plants. Crafted like a culinary recipe, whether spontaneous or not, they result from a subtle balance of flavors."
