67% chardonnay and 33% pinot noir, with the pinot noir comes from a lieu dit in Vertus named La Barre and is macerated for 48 hours before pressing. It then goes into barrel for at least one year before it is blended with chardonnay from Mont Aime and Le Mesnil before bottling. Raspberry, cinnamon spice and clove flavors are present in this rather full-bodied brut rose.

Pascal started making wine at his family's estate in 1995 and established Champagne Pascal Doquet in 2004 when his father retired. He farms just under 9 hectares of vines including prime parcels in Vertus, Le Mont Aimé and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Natural farming and dedication to vineyard health is integral to Pascal and the domaine has been certified organic since 2010. Plant-based treatments are more commonly used as Pascal seeks to reduce his use of even copper and sulfur. He fully believes that his focus on vineyard management allows him to express subtleties of his terroir and to make honest wines. We think you can definitely taste the difference!

"The NV Rosé Premier Cru Anthocyanes is a beautifully pure and fruity Rosé that was fermented in oak. It’s pretty rich and intense but also very fresh and reveals some fine, vinous tannins, while the finish is quite firm and a bit drying. This assemblage blends the vintages of 2012 (20%), 2011 (46%) and 2010 (34%). Bottled in September 2013, the wine was disgorged in July 2017 with a dosage of 4.5 grams per liter." -Stephan Reinhardt
