What is this wine?
Capanna is a historic family estate in the Montosoli zone north of Montalcino, long considered one of the area’s finest terroirs for Sangiovese Grosso. The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is made only in top vintages, from carefully selected old vines, and aged traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks. The 2016 vintage is regarded as one of the greatest of the past two decades, producing Brunello with depth, balance, and extraordinary longevity.
