"The 2023 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc La Corvée de Bully is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Blanc, whereas last year Faure separated the cuvées. He felt that the latter did not have the complexity. This is matured in 30% new oak, as Faure needed some new barrels in his winery. It has a pungent nose with white peach, smoked walnuts and just a light oxidative element in the background. The palate is well balanced with plenty of pear and white peach again, and this finishes with fine length and a touch of spice. Very fine." -Neal Martin
