Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux, based in Vosne-Romanée and led by Charles Lachaux, has become one of the most in-demand names in Burgundy, thanks to meticulous biodynamic farming and distinctive whole-cluster winemaking. Les Poisets is a village-level lieu-dit in Nuits-Saint-Georges, located just below the premier cru Les Cailles. With clay-limestone soils and excellent exposition, it consistently produces wines of structure and energy. The 2019 vintage was exceptional, delivering concentrated, balanced reds with excellent aging potential.

Best 2024–2035. Decant if drinking young. Perfect with roast chicken, duck, or mushroom dishes.

"The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Poisets, which was hailed 2018 and therefore pruned short to replenish its vigour in 2019, was cropped at 15hl/ha. It has a fresh, slightly earthy bouquet with dark berry fruit, Earl Grey and light cedar scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, quite pliant on the mouth with a hint of white pepper towards the finish with sour cherry on the aftertaste. Fine." -Neal Martin
