"From 40+ year old vines planted in a .35 ha parcel with only 30 to 40 cm of topsoil A spicy and vaguely exotic nose offers up notes of citrus confit, white peach, spiced tea and a hint of pain grillé. There is excellent mid-palate concentration to the overtly mineral-inflected and refined medium weight flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before concluding in a chiseled and attractively long finale. This is also quite tightly wound so at least some patience should prove beneficial as a bit more overall depth might well move it to the next level."
