Brookdale Estate lies at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein mountains in Paarl, South Africa, where old-vine Chenin Blanc thrives on decomposed granite soils. The estate’s Old Vine Chenin Blanc is sourced from a vineyard planted in 1985, farmed sustainably and vinified with native yeasts in a mix of stainless steel and large neutral oak. The 2023 vintage was cool and balanced, producing elegant, mineral-driven whites with excellent freshness.
