Cascina Penna-Currado Langhe Nebbiolo Bricco Lago 2023 is a pure, elegant Nebbiolo from the Colli Tortonesi area of southeastern Piedmont, produced by Elena and Luca Currado (of the famed Vietti Barolo family) and their son Matteo. After decades at Vietti, the Currados founded Cascina Penna-Currado to explore new terroirs with the same meticulous farming and traditional methods that built their reputation. Grapes for Bricco Lago come from a single hillside site with limestone and clay soils, hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts before aging in large neutral oak.
