Domaine des Chasseignes’ 2022 Sancerre Rouge is 100% Pinot Noir from 45-year-old vines grown on flinty Caillottes soils near Sury-en-Vaux. The estate, led by Aurore Dezat and David Girard, is converting to organic farming, with careful hand-harvesting and parcel selection.

Fermentation takes place with native yeasts in a mix of stainless steel, wood vats, and barrels, followed by over 12 months of aging. The result is a fresh, mineral-driven red with spice, silky tannins, and restrained concentration.
