The "entry-level" cuvée is from a mix of youngish (15 years) and very old vines (90 years) and is made in stainless steel, all the more to focus the wine on the bright and mineral lines that accentuate the pear and other fruit notes. The French Revue says that it "leads us to Chenin Blanc's essence: the flesh, the fruit, the freshness." You gotta love the French.
