From the producer: The Stowaway is a field blend of organically-grown Zinfandel and Carignane, grown on land owned by Buddhists in Mendocino County. Roughly two 2/3 Carignane and 1/3 Zinfandel, the 2018 Stowaway has rich, dark fruit flavors but remains fresh and lively. Plum and black cherry provide the backbone of the aroma, and earthy spices come through with the fruits on the palate. It's lightly textured, with lifting acidity and gentle tannins.
