Sophie Siadou crafts this Valençay at Domaine Jourdain in the eastern Loire, working sustainably on flinty limestone soils. Imported by Mary Taylor, it’s a regional blend designed to reflect local character and precision.

The 2023 is 35% Gamay, 35% Côt, and 30% Pinot Noir, fermented with native yeasts and aged 18 months in neutral barrels. Fresh, mineral, and lightly spicy, it’s a balanced, food-friendly Loire red.
