Arnot‑Roberts sources their Fox Creek Pinot Noir from Carmel Valley’s sandy, southwest-facing slopes. Planted in 1982, the site balances coastal influence with inland warmth.

The wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged in mostly neutral oak, with minimal intervention. A focused, site-transparent expression of Monterey County Pinot Noir.

Pichler-Krutzler from Austria’s famed Wachau region is Erich Krutzler and his wife Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler, the son-in-law and daughter of F.X. Pichler. Using sustainable viticulture and low intervention in the cellar, their wines are fresh and true expressions of Gruner and Riesling.

Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

AG 89
"The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Dürnstein, formerly labeled Frauenweingarten, was harvested in flat valley sites and fermented in stainless steel. Krutzler emphasizes that this was made from disparate batches of ripeness. A beautiful note of rain-wet soil sends freshness on the nose. Pepper only shimmers slightly. The palate is smooth and comes with a lot of equanimity on a smooth, rounded, fresh palate." -Anne Krebiehl MW
