Château Faugères, a Grand Cru Classé estate near Saint-Émilion, produced a notably age-worthy wine in 2000. The blend—mostly Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon—comes from limestone and clay soils, delivering structure and depth.

Now fully mature, it shows developed notes of dark fruit, tobacco, and mineral elegance. A polished Right Bank classic, ideal with roast meats or aged cheeses.
