Valle dell’Acate is a historic Sicilian estate in the southeastern DOC of Vittoria, led by Gaetana Jacono, whose family has been making wine here for six generations. The winery is best known for Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Sicily’s only DOCG, but also produces a varietal Frappato di Vittoria. Frappato is an indigenous grape prized for its delicate body, floral aromatics, and vibrant freshness. The 2022 vintage yielded bright, fruit-forward reds with excellent balance.
