"This Asili from Ca' del Baio is an intoxicating Barbaresco. The elegance of the MGA becomes the flow of aromas: savoury rhubarb, thyme and dried cherry jump out of the glass. The attack is extremely fine, with refined tannins and lifted acidity. Do not expect a powerful wine - the style is leaner but the structure is there, with austere tannins on the finish reminding you that you are tasting Nebbiolo. A great example."
