Bott Frigyes’s 2022 Kékfrankos “Béla” comes from biodynamically farmed vineyards on volcanic limestone soils in southern Slovakia. Grapes are macerated using alternating layers of whole clusters and destemmed fruit, then aged on lees in amphora and large barrels.

Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur, the wine is pale, savory, and mineral-driven. A precise, energetic expression of Kékfrankos with red fruit, herbal spice, and earthy depth.
