"The smashing 2015 Vin Jaune Côtes du Jura bursts from the glass with saffron, dried ginger, white mushrooms and dried flowers. Walnuts and bread dough add more complexity. Bold and powerful, this is a serious Vin Jaune at 16% alcohol, but the sharp acidity keeps everything neatly balanced. It concludes with a nutty aftertaste on the elongated finish.
