The Estate Riesling Kabinett comes from 25-year-old vines and represents a more light style of Riesling. The vineyards, Kiedrich Wasseros and Sangrub, are located on the parcels of phyllite and loam soils at a higher elevation, proving to have cooler growing temperatures. The grapes are hand-picked and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation is stopped by chilling temperatures. Aromatically the wine is filled with perfectly ripened exotic fruits. On the palate, the sweetness is well integrated, with a touch of lemon zest and balancing acidity throughout the finish.

Founded in 1875, Weingut Robert Weil is actually considered one of the younger estates in the Rheingau area. Their main estate vineyards, Kiedrich Turmberg and Kiedrich Gräfenberg are situated on a southwest-facing ridge and a steep cliff with inclines of up to 60 percent! Due to this all grapes are hand harvested with immense care producing wines that are complex and rich in minerals, with great elegance and finesse.
