What is this wine?
Domaine Denizot is a small, family-run estate based in Tracy-sur-Loire, at the heart of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation in the eastern Loire Valley. The Denizot family has been growing vines in the region for generations and farms with a focus on sustainability and minimal intervention, emphasizing clarity of fruit and terroir expression.
The Pouilly-Fumé 2022 is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown on classic Pouilly terroirs of limestone, flint (silex), and Kimmeridgian marl. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with native yeasts, this cuvée showcases the pure, precise, and mineral-driven style that defines the appellation.
Why get this wine?

The 2022 vintage offers ideal ripeness and balance, combining fruit intensity with the hallmark smoky flint note that gives the wine its name (“fumé” = smoky). A perfect alternative to Sancerre, offering both value and distinctive character.
