Left Red Wine

Turnbull has been rooted in the culture and history of the Napa Valley, making wine of exceptional quality since 1979. They still operate a small, family-owned business from the original estate winery in Oakville, and pay tribute to their heritage while rooted in the present. All of their wines come from estate-grown fruit, which is carefully tended to from the ground up through to the winery. Their signature is a balanced wine of structure and depth, with an intensity of fruit and polished, elegant texture.

"While the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label may not offer all the floral fireworks of the Leopoldina Vineyard bottling, it showcases admirable depth and purity of cassis and black cherry fruit. It's full-bodied, perhaps a bit more powerful, richer and more tannic, with hints of mocha and cigar box as well. Long and sultry on the finish, it picks up extra complexity in the form of salted licorice, black olives and earth." -Robert Parker
