"Richer, darker and also slightly more polished, the 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is another beautiful wine and is one of the few gems in the vintage to seek out. Licorice, dried earth, black cherries, raspberries and spice are just some of the nuances here, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, impressive balance and ripe tannin."
