"Dark garnet color. Smoke- and spiced-tinged dark fruit, floral and garrigue aromas pick up a peppery element with air. Offers deep blackberry, kirsch, candied lavender, baking spice flavors and a touch of licorice. Finishes impressively long and spicy, with chewy tannins coming in late. This is still quite youthful and deserves some patience, or at the very least, decanting." -Vinous
