Dr. H. Thanisch’s 2021 Riesling Bernkastel-Kues Alte Reben comes from old vines (50–100 years) planted on steep, south-facing slate slopes in the Mosel region. The estate farms sustainably and hand-harvests fruit, fermenting with native yeasts and aging briefly in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity.

This dry Riesling shows classic Mosel tension, with bright citrus, green apple, wet slate, and vibrant acidity. It offers focused minerality and elegance, showcasing the unique terroir of Bernkastel-Kues.
