From Ignacio Ameztoi's oldest vines, Primus represents the apex of Getariako Txakolina—a still wine with striking complexity and minerality from Basque coastal terroir. Hand-harvested fruit ferments with native yeasts, then ages seven months on fine lees creating an elegant expression. Pale and greenish with aromatic whispers of mint, green apples, and sea air, the palate builds with sophistication and a broad finish.

Ameztoi lies twenty minutes away from San Sebastian, that bastion of Basque food and culture. While the winery focuses on the native and unique varieties and styles, they are also renowned for their innovation.
