Erin Mitchell's day job is selling some of the very best, small production, naturally made European wines for Farm Wine Imports in San Francisco. So when she and her husband Randy Czech decided to make their own wine they begin searching for a cool climate vineyard that was farmed right. They found the vineyard in the Fort Ross-Seaview area of Sonoma, just a ridge away from Hirsch. But this wasn't a Pinot or even a Chardonnay plot. It was Bordeaux varietals!
