The recipe is simple: Noir de Bourgogne black currants macerated for two months in neutral French alcohol, then blended with sugar. No artificial dyes, no additives—the deep purple-black color is entirely natural. In 2018, Briottet received the prestigious 'Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant' (Living Heritage Company) designation from the French state, recognizing exceptional artisanal mastery.
