A 40-year-old single-vintage Armagnac from Château de Pellehaut, distilled in 1983 from 100% Ugni Blanc—the only grape the estate used until transitioning to Folle Blanche in 1997, making all pre-1997 vintages pure varietal expressions. Four decades in Armagnac oak have created extraordinary depth while retaining remarkable strength at around 47-48% ABV, bottled at cask strength with no filtering, coloring, or additives. This is Armagnac as honest as it gets: one grape, one estate, one vintage, no manipulation.
