"The 2020 Reserva is a field blend (some 35 grapes from vines ranging from 60 to 100 years old) that is principally Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca, all aged for 16 months in 22% new French oak. It comes in at 14.9% alcohol. Big and ripe, this drinks well and tastes great, but it isn't quite as fresh as, say, the Touriga. That's not to suggest that it doesn't hold its balance; it does. It just seems more typical. It is rather tasty, with ripe tannins for support. You can drink this young or hold it for extended aging."

"Firm and dense, this concentrated wine has powerful black fruits. Its texture is still very present and young, promising great things for the future. Drink this memorable wine from 2026." -Roger Voss
