Join us for an evening exploring one of the world’s most storied wine regions: Germany’s Mosel Valley. On Thursday, September 11th, from 5 PM to 7 PM in our Cellar Room, we welcome Christian Esser, German Portfolio Manager at Chambers & Chambers, for a focused seminar and guided tasting.
The Mosel has long been celebrated for its steep slate vineyards and wines that combine elegance, precision, and remarkable longevity. Within this region, three subregions stand out for their unique voices: the Mittelmosel, the Ruwer, and the Saar. Christian will lead us through a comparative tasting of two wines from each area, highlighting how soil, exposure, and tradition shape the distinct expressions of each.
Over the course of the evening, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully curated flight of six wines presented in three comparative flights. Along the way, Christian will share insights into the Mosel’s history, viticulture, and stylistic evolution, while offering practical tasting cues to help you understand what makes these wines so distinctive. It’s a rare opportunity to explore terroir side by side under the guidance of a regional expert.
Seating is limited to just 16 guests. Tickets are $50 and include the full guided tasting plus a $20 store credit toward a future purchase.
We look forward to raising a glass with you as we continue our Wine School journey into the Mosel!
